Weaving our Fabrics

To wholly avoid the labor and environmental violence of industrial weaving mills, we chose to embrace the beauty of traditional loom-weaving by independent artisans. 

Weaving is an incredibly complex craft with many moving parts, and hand-loomed fabrics carry enormous challenges in achieving consistency, longevity, and desired drape and silhouette. Loomed fabrics are also exceedingly difficult for tailors to cut and sew with traditional sewing machines.
